There are many different styles and types of music ranging from the concert hall to the dance hall to family hoe-downs and everything in between. I understand that most students have no idea where their musical adventure may take them, but it is helpful to know if there are any specific interests that students have now. If you are an adult who has never taken lessons before, you will want to begin with weekly lessons. With regular practicing, you will be ready for either new material or a refresher of the new skills you are learning. If you already have some piano skills and are returning to lessons again, you may find that lessons every other week is a better arrangement. You already have many skills to draw on, and two weeks gives you more time to master these skills.
Which do you think you will prefer?*
