There are many different styles and types of music ranging from the concert hall to the dance hall to family entertainment and everything in between. I understand that most students have no idea where their musical adventure may take them, but it is helpful to know if there are any specific interests that students have now. Please check any of the following that may apply.

The difference in learning for those who practice regularly and those who don’t is significant; and as every music teacher knows, practice does not necessarily make perfect – rather, practice makes permanent! So it follows, good practicing is the key to good learning when it comes to music. Every lesson introduces skills and music that need to be repeated well & regularly until they become habit or second nature. Please choose the time you will plan to invest this year. Remember it is often more productive to have 2 or 3 shorter practices in a day, and longer practice times can be worked up to over a period of several weeks.
